Is Are wavelength and the distance same thing?

Sorry guys I know this a dumb question but canCan you clarify for me with thisthe following question. Is: are wavelength and distance same.?

I know wavelength Isis measured in terms of distance but when we have a look at the two equations (c=f*lambda) and (v=d/t) it: $$ c=f\,\lambda\\ v=d/t $$
it actually explains the same thing where v=c=velocity$v=c$=velocity and 1/t$1/t$ is frequency. So lambda$\lambda$ should be= dbe equal to $d$. So if lambda = d$\lambda = d$, then why do we have two equations existing instead of one. Can we use any equation to calculate velocity?
