30+ years developing instrumentation in optics, acoustics, chemical sensing, and imaging. Doctorate in chemistry and physics, employment history in national labs and universities, senior management and lead scientist in industry.

My lab supports optics, spectroscopy, imaging and acoustics, light chemistry for materials prep, electrical design and fabrication including surface mount PCB assembly, mechanical design with 3-d printing and cnc, and software development from on-the-metal to GUI.

In case it may be of interest, I program in C, C++, Python, Assembler, write firmware for embedded platforms including TI DSPs, ARM, AVR, and device drivers and user interfaces. All of my desktops and laptops run Linux, the Fedora Cinnamon spin.
