Why do we need insulation material between two walls?
@PcMan This comment contains much more sass than it does helpful information.

Birds on a wire (again) - how is it that birds feel no current? They are just making a parallel circuit, no?
I found most of that quoted section at projectbeak.org/adaptations/feet.htm but the claim after the ellipsis seems to have been added by the answerer.

Why do we feel weightlessness during free fall?
@user600016 Care to elaborate? That comment is quite cryptic at the moment.

Why is Microwaved mac & cheese burnt where they touch?
@Mindwin Ah, it sounded like you knew a term to find examples with various foods, but perhaps this isn't a named phenomenon.

@Mindwin Any suggestion of what search terms to use? "burnt microwave food" doesn't exactly return these depictions.

Why does paper cut through things so well?
This is indeed a good answer, but leaves several questions unanswered. For example, why can't I read this answer without my face twisting and hands clenching?

What's the physics behind XKCD #2027 (time between lightning flash and radio wave burst)?
@uhoh Just find a plugin to run the following script anytime you go to xkcd.com: $('<p>' + $('#comic img').attr('title') + '</p>').insertAfter($('#comic'));. It'll insert the title text below the comic.

Why doesn't soda go flat immediately after opening?
@Tschallacka Nucleated beer glasses do exist, but it doesn't seem like there's a whole lot of control over the patterns. Maybe spirals are produced, but that's about it.
