The new object was already known to mathematicians and string theorists and it's called "Associahedron". Luckily, it is in many regards a much easier object to understand and visualise than the original Amplituhedron. Moreover, this approach produce new formula for amplitudes and seems to give an explanation of the color-kinematic duality. | |
