Mar 13, 2018 at 12:28 comment added giulio bullsaver "A new amplituhedron has been discovered." arxiv.org/abs/1711.09102 We can now compute amplitudes of a scalar, cubic, planar field theory exactly with the same method as was done for N=4 SYM with the original amplituhedron. The new object was already known to mathematicians and string theorists and it's called "Associahedron". Luckily, it is in many regards a much easier object to understand and visualise than the original Amplituhedron. Moreover, this approach produce new formula for amplitudes and seems to give an explanation of the color-kinematic duality.
