When I took graduate Quantum in the Chemistry department at Chicago (decades ago) linear algebra was not a pre-req. Those who had had it thought the QM class (taught by surface chemist Robert Gomer) was one of the greatest ever. Those without linear algebra thought the class sucked. | |
