Learn moreIf you ask me what you see if you look at space-time at a length scale comparable to the planck scale I wouldn't know what to say... What I am pretty sure of is that there are NO STRINGS, NO BRANES and certainly NO EXTRA DIMENSIONS I am also sceptical that any super-partners will be visible at LHC after 2015. I am sceptical that super-partners exist in nature in the first place. Also, the holographic principle is NOT a property of "quantum gravity". It is an assertion made based upon a quasi-classical interpretation (or, say, first order approach) of quantum gravity. The holographic principle may as well not be related to quantum gravity at all and maybe not even with reality. The "realizations" of the holographic principle are just wishful thinking. All can be expressed trivially in other terms and cannot be related univocally to the "realized" theories... I am still wondering how can so many people take for granted assumptions that are so vague and ill stated...
