What is the derivative of $\dot{\theta^2}$?

${d \over dt} \theta = \dot \theta$ So what you are asking is basically ${d^2 \over dt^2} \theta^2$ First, ${d \over dt} \theta^2 = \dot{\theta^2} = 2 \theta \dot \theta$ Second, ${d \over dt}(\dot …

Given a Force $F$ in newtons, what are the appropriate units for a scalar $Q$ so that $F = Q...

Well, not the way you posted it but, a Force is a vector quantity. So $10 * \vec 20.0 N$ is a valid "scalar - vector multiplication". So it's totally valid for $Q = 10$, as a scalar, dimentionless.
