If velocity is constant, how can $p = F\cdot v$ be non zero?

the power of the airplane is $$P = m\cdot v\cdot g $$ where $g$ is the acceleration of gravity and therefore: $$ F = m\cdot g, $$ but, if the velocity is constant, there is no net force as well as no work

when an object is lifted (at a constant velocity) shouldn't the work done on the object be z... [duplicate]

So if the net force on the object is zero shouldn't the WORK also be zero?...(Although the potential energy increases which indicate work done.....I'm a bit confused.) …
