[Black holes][1] are interpreted to have a "break down" of general relativity at their point of singularity. The region near the singularity is expected to be described by some theory of [quantum gravity][2]. This makes me wonder, are there any serious attempts at making theories for probing the inside of black hole [event horizons][3] in order to learn about the physics inside them?
