Man in a lift question

A man of weight, W steps into the lift. The lift then move downwards with a constant speed. If R represents the force acting on the man by the lift floor, which of the following statements is/are correct?

(1) R is equal to W in magnitude

(2) R and W are in opposite directions

(3) R and W are action reaction pair according to Newton's third law

A) (2) only

B) (3) only

C) (1) and (2) only

D) (1) and (3) only

This is a question of a worksheet that I'm giving to a student. I think (1) and (2) are true but I don't understand why (3) is not a correct statement.
