Why the galvanometer used in potentiometer experiment to determine emf of a cell shows 0 deflection when potential drop between two points on the potentiometer wire becomes equal to emf of a cell?I know that in that case no current is flowing as shown by galvanometer but why is it so?(The potentiometer I am referring to is the classical one taught to 12 th standard students).
