In the isentropic compression tables, if P/Po = 0.9999, then A/A* = 57.8738.

This is from the isentropic compression table found here: http://www.cchem.berkeley.edu/cbe150a/isentropic_flow.pdf

Am I correct to say that I could take a very low-speed wind(airflow) and convert it into a Mach 1 airflow by passing it through a tube with a gradual decrease in the area to 57.8738 times? Assuming there is no energy loss in the air.
