So background, I'm imagining a black box scenario where we have some spintronic system. It might be a topological quantum computer that uses spin currents running across it's memory to connect information structures needed for calculations.
The key issue of the question to stress is, its an impenetrable, sealed black box (of arbitrary composition) that if we did manage to open would invariably compromise the computation.
Lets say we wanted to run a new algorithm, or spin current in the system but our only interface is (potentially) limited to fields that can pass through its housing.
What are our options for inducing a spin wave/current into our system?
