This would mean unobserved quantum waves do not use spacetime and their lives (the states they will ever be) from point A to B are instantaneous. i.e. they are not using time from spacetime when unobserved. The final panel doesn't influence anything.

  • $\begingroup$ In my opinion, there is some sort of conservation of information happening in the world of QM. In any and every type of double slit experiment, if you know what slit a particle went through, you get a particle result. If you don't know what slit a particle went through, you get a wave result. And apparently, the cleverness of the experimenter is irrelevant. $\endgroup$ – David White Sep 11 at 0:53
