In the Anti Zeno Effect, in which the system required to provide constant measurements of the material for the purpose of speeding up decay is comprised of a high-frequency laser, could exposing a material to the laser system for an extended period of time eventually allow for the decay of the material at accelerated rates without the laser actively measuring the material? If so, how long would this need to be?

To word it differently, could you measure the material for so long that accelerated decay can occur without the need for an external system to provide the photons? How long would this be?
