Do flat plates (A) result in less drag than concave surfaces (B)?

Intuitively, i think flat plates produces less drag than concave surface because the concave surface makes the fluid move backwards, while the flat plate does not.

  • $\begingroup$ It might help if you provide a link to a reference (i.e. lab testing) that shows that B does cause more drag. $\endgroup$ – Time4Tea Aug 20 at 13:49
