The Fresnel's equations no long work when the thickness of the metal thin film is thinner than skin depth. For example, the reflectance of a metal thin film is always the same according to fresnel's equation no matter how thin the layer is, and similarly, the transmittance is always very low even if the thin film is only 1 nm. I'm wondering if there are any equations I can use in this case, to accurately calculate transmittance and reflectance of a metal thin film?
