I'm working through the quark model Hadron wavefunctions, and trying to figure out the flavour-spin part of the wave functions. This is easy enough for S shell spatial states, since the space wave function is symmetric. However I do not know and cannot find the symmetry properties of the P, D, and F spatial wave functions, under swapping of two fermion labels.

Where might I find these?

  • $\begingroup$ I don't know about other simmetries, but for parity you can calculate it as (-1) to the L of the two particles, since the spatial wavefunction depends on the spherical harmonics. Is this what you're asking? $\endgroup$ – Mauro Giliberti Jun 18 at 12:44
