My approach was to first notice that the electric field is decreasing, therefore the change in electric field is to the left. If I point my thumb in the direction of the change, then my fingers curl in the direction of the induced magnetic field. Field lines enter page (everywhere above the wire) and field lines exit the page (everywhere below the wire) to form closed loops. From this, I believe the magnetic fields both point into the page at P and S. However, I think there might be a flaw in my reasoning. Please help me clear up any errors.
