I was doing an experiment on photoelectric effect. The photocell had a cable from which both the anode and cathode wires came out. I was told to find out the name of the cable. here's a skillfully drawn illustraion depicting what i mean:

    $\begingroup$ Although I hugely admire your skill in drawing, you seem to be depicting an ordinary two-core flexible cable, or 'flex'. Had one (insulated) wire been surrounded by the other in the form of a mesh, I'd delight in telling you that you had a co-axial cable. $\endgroup$ – Philip Wood Jan 25 at 18:00
