Q: A satellite measures longwave radiation emerging from a planet with uniform surface temperature T1 and uniform atmospheric temperature T2. What values of radiance does the satellite measure in the spectral regions where the atmosphere is strongly absorbing, and what values does it measure where the atmosphere is transparent?

I believe that we're meant to find B(\lambda), expressed in terms of T1 and/or T2, and I think we may have to use the following formula but I am unsure. Formula
