I am interested in seeing a plot of dark to baryonic matter ratios in terms of the galactic disk size (when it applies, as not all galaxies fit into disk shapes, and probably analyzing disk galaxies with amorphous ones would only contribute to murky the curve with noise) and how the galactic populations are distributed over that range of sizes.

Does something like this exist?

$\begingroup$ Yes, these things exist. Figure 3 in the linked paper seems to be along the line of what you are looking for. I'm not fluid enough with screen shots and editing tools to extract it from the pdf. aanda.org/articles/aa/pdf/2009/12/aa11085-08.pdf $\endgroup$ – ohwilleke Oct 5 '18 at 19:44
  • $\begingroup$ well, kind of. That plot is going one step ahead and replacing the correlation of disk size with minimum acceleration ratio $\endgroup$ – lurscher Oct 5 '18 at 21:58
