We search for dark matter using direct techniques searching for a recoil of e.g. nobel gases atoms (Xenon1T,...) or indirect techniques (gamma-ray observations of dwarf spheroidal galaxies, the galactic center,...). I was wondering what are the advantages of one technique over the other and where are our best chances to detect a WIMP.
