I'm solving problems from "Introduction to Quantum Mechanics" by David J. Griffiths. In question 27 of second edition of the book, there is a question that states:

"Consider the double delta-function potential, $V(x)=-\alpha[\delta(x+a)+\delta(x-a)]$ where $\alpha$ and $a$ are positive".

How do I tell if this is a bound or scattering state?

  • $\begingroup$ This is a potential. You have not written down a state. $\endgroup$ – By Symmetry May 29 '18 at 11:04
