In the picture below you can see how the first generation of quarks and leptons is seen in Loop Quantum Gravity.

In the Rishon Model of my beloved Haim Harari you can see that the first generation of quarks and leptons exhibits the same structure as the structures shown above. Very conspicuous! Can it be that there is a connection between the two or that LQG completely separate from Harari's model arrived at these braids for quarks and leptons?

  • $\begingroup$ I do not see a topological difference betweent the electron and the positron in the plots. $\endgroup$ – anna v May 23 '17 at 15:23
  • $\begingroup$ These seem to be like constraints on strings, i.e. one "particle" in topological contortions. The logic is different than the rishon logic as far as I can see, where there are distinct preons. $\endgroup$ – anna v May 23 '17 at 15:33
