Sep 21 at 19:23 comment added Independent Physics @Andrew Is its simpler than standard MOND, and applied to a galaxy, it yields more or less the same results. Rotational velocities still scale with an 1/r law over the MOND acceleration.

To me, looking at the two formulas you posted, it looks like a pretty big change -- the first one will scale like $1/r$ at large $r$ and the second will scale like a constant. I'm happy to be proven wrong I'm just asking where are you getting your proposed modification from and what evidence do you have that it makes predictions for rotation curves that are as least as good as ordinary MOND?
Sep 20 at 13:15 comment added Independent Physics @Andrew I think the sum of Newtonian acceleration and the acceleration scale constant also fits galaxy rotation curves. It is not a "big" modification with respect to deep MOND..

Sep 20 at 1:29 comment added Andrew Why would you expect it to follow the form you proposed? The point of MOND was to develop a formula that would fit galaxy rotation curves. Since that curve fitting exercise worked, if you modify that formula in a "big" way (not just adding a small correction to the fit), then your modified formula won't fit the data.
