Newton's 3rd Law is about two forces that two objects exert on each other and says that if Object 1 exerts a force on Object 2, then Object 2 exerts a force on object 1 of the same type as the original force but acting in exactly the opposite direction. Just because two forces are equal and opposite does not make them an action-reaction pair. | |
