Apr 26, 2023 at 22:14 comment added Quillo If the time derivative goes to zero then yes, the time derivative of the entropy goes to zero but.. for finite changes of $X$ (a quasi static process still can amount to a finite change of the parameters) you will still have a finite change in $S$. So, I don't see the point of the first part of the answer.
