But is there a way to show $\delta_{\epsilon} \phi = \epsilon^{\mu} \partial_{\mu} \phi + \frac{1}{d} \partial_{\mu} \epsilon^{\mu} \phi$ mathematically? Or maybe you could direct me to a few resources in which the transformation law is derived.
