People talk about classical mechanics, because it's a highly useful approximation to work with when figuring stuff out that is easier to use. On the other hand, Bohmian mechanics is much more complex to work with compared to quantum mechanics. Instead of just a wave function, you've got another differential equation written in terms of the wave function. If anything, had Bohmian mechanics turned out to be truer, people would still use quantum mechanics for its ease of use.
