Mar 23, 2022 at 2:37 comment added anna when we are doing force calculations such as F- m*g = Fnet, the only way Fnet = 0 is if there is an opposing force. So if I hit the ball with my golf club, how does the initial force get used up without an opposing force like friction or gravitational? How come the formulas don't factor in a force F just going to zero with time t?
