Jun 5, 2021 at 11:09 comment added A.V.S. @MauroGiliberti: For the visualizations of AdS I am partial to “sausage coordinates” where AdS is seen as stack of Poincaré discs with each disk representing hyperbolic space, slice of fixed time. This is the image used in Wikipedia. The conformal boundary here is the boundary of a cylinder. I would also recommend looking at lectures on AdS space.

Being interested in AdS/CFT, I would love to see some of the "other visual representations" that you mention in the last paragraph. Are you aware of any reputable paper/book that shows such a thing (since OP just made it by hand)?
