Dec 23, 2021 at 6:30 | comment | added | Níckolas Alves | I love this approach and I'd only like to add two small comments: firstly, this is the example Dirac uses in his Principles of Quantum Mechanics, so it can be a reference for further details; secondly, modern 3D glasses employs polarization to give different images on each lens of the glasses, which in some cases might be a good way of connecting it to real world applications. I don't recall whether Dirac derives Malus' law, but it is also an excellent example of a prediction | |
