Jan 13, 2022 at 16:59 comment added al-Hwarizmi Be careful when trying to gain a Schrödinger equation from a Fokker-Planck: The overall Fokker-Planck operator applied to $f$ is not Hermitian because of the first derivative $\frac{\partial}{\partial x}$. You may need to introduce a new function normed by the square root of the stationary solution $f_s$ of your Fokker-Planck equation.
