It is the total heat capacity that influences the cooling rate. Are you then saying that thickness influences the heat lost? | |

Due to the specific heat capacity difference after the first second the temperature of two different heat capacity objects will be change. So the heat lost will be change after that moment due to the temperature is different in two objects. | |
