May 5, 2016 at 9:44 comment added atom @JohnRennie: Consider a LASER beam. It is stream of billions of photons; all photons moving in almost straight line. There is no interaction of photons with anything else. Still we can MEANINGFULLY say photons are traveling in almost straight line. So isn't it meaningful to talk about a single photon ?
