Aug 17, 2023 at 14:53 comment added Albert For multiple reasons I personally didn't appreciate Peskin and Schroeder's, and certainly I would not recommend it to beginners. The book delves into some unnecessary explanations while it posits other less obvious facts without further comment. On the other hand, it is almost $0\%$ modular so it is terrible if you want to use it to refresh some notions.
