I think I know where is the problem. $\Omega$ is not state variable!!! It indicates only the rate of rotation.

which formula do you exactly mean? By any formula there I would get straight trajectory and that is definitely not going to predict my observations. One thing I forgot to mention. It seamed like the ball when released from 3m depth was rotating when it hit the surface that might stopped the jump.

One would expect that shadow's mass would be proportional to its area like paper's mass is proportional to its area. So I show that this cannot be happening. Paper don't get bigger and smaller when you move it around but shadow does!
