@DavidZaslavsky of course this is on the assumption that drives work by aligning zeros and ones correspondingly. Not so. Also, if the data is compressed or encrypted, it will have maximal entropy and thus contributions from orientations should/could cancel out.

If you take a rule and you replace it with something not equivalent by definition you won't get the same result. One can simply multiply all probability distribution by some normalised function and obtain something that makes different predictions... wrong ones. :-)

I assume you mean alcohol and not vodka above. Considering it's a real mixture, and the two components are not separated, I do not think it's even possible that one boils but not the other.
