What experiment would disprove string theory? Lubos, when writing down a string action, doesn't it begin, as Lagrangians usually do, by imposing Lorenz invariance and the invariances for the fields that are to be reproduced? If not, I'd love to read up on how that works. Could you suggest a reference for me? |
