comment Reactor construction with the highest theoretical watt-weight ratio
A laser based reactor could potentially be pretty light and small. This seems more all quite speculative though until we can get one to work nicely and then find out if it is feasible to use the same idea in space.

comment Could we recharge the sun's “batteries”?
And the premise that the sun will become a supernova is at least questionable.

comment Convert pressure to energy
Are you interested in the physics behind piezoelectricity and how to create a current from it or more interested in designing an actual device. For the engineering side electronics.stackexchange.com is much better suited.

Could you elaborate a bit? Google Scholar returns hundreds of publications that deal with the effect of humidity on static electricity in various conditions/materials.

comment How much energy does it take to cook a steak?
It is not a nonsensical question, it just has a large range of answers. 1000kJ comes from my stove, where a single burner uses 2kW and including warming up the pan such a steak might need 8 minutes (well done).

Your question is still not nearly precise enough. Count Iblis provided a lower limit under pretty much adiabatic conditions. Frying it in a normal pan will require approximately 1000kJ. Everything in between just depends on the conditions.

comment What is the math/physics behind maximizing tinker's damage?
I am not sure whether your question can be answered here. This is not really connected to physics but only depends on the algorithm the game designer used to calculate the outcome of the interaction. Most likely there is a cross-product involved but without further information one can only speculate.

This is not correct, superconductors have only a zero resistance for DC currents, not AC. There will be heating. The details depend on the material (i.e. type I or II, pinning, frequency, etc.).
