comment General integral to find resistance
For the lesser mathematical minds, would you care to explain with an example, say resistance along the diameter of a sphere?

comment How do charge carriers move thermal energy? (Peltier effect)
Does the Fermi level have anything to do with the contact potential? Can you point me to the source you used for this explanation? I am working on a Peltier effect paper and I can't find an explanation as reasonable as yours around the web. Most papers talking about the Peltier effect don't even bother to explain it.

But wouldn't these imply that the Peltier effect would work without a junction of two different materials?

comment Torque vs Moment
Hm, sounds convincing enough. Yesterday I kept reading and among the explanations I found, was that moment of force is the general name for forces about axes, but the term "torque" could be used when there was a couple.
