Does the rotation of the earth dramatically affect airplane flight time? Why are you calling "Coriolis" a pseudo-force? When you calculate the derivatives, you clearly see the influence of Coriolis, hence it is a real force, not a pseudo force. |

Orbital radius of Geo-stationary satellite @MikeDunlavey Think of editing your comment as m is milli and M is Mega. Hence, 35mm is 35 millimeters, not mega meters ;-) |

Probability current @wsc Thank you for pointing that out. I think I have corrected them now, after redoing the math on paper. |

Young's double slit @henry, would like a proof of that the intensity of an interference $M(x,y,z)$ point of two waves of the same amplitude is $I(M)=4I_0\cos^2\frac{\Delta\Phi}{2}$ ? By rereading your question, I wonder if my answer pinpoints what you were looking for. The most important tip is to remember cosine formulas. |

Probability current Dear @LubošMotl, thank you for asking. In my LaTex documents, the lowercase \psi looks like this one . It is the same letter, just slightly printed differently. |

Probability current I got to refresh my latex ability by writing this. However, I can't seem to figure out how to write the correct Psi letter with Mathjax. In my previous (three years old) LaTeX documents, I simply used \psi without any special package. Please edit my post to correct that, thanks! |
