comment How high can you stack mobile homes?
That is a remarkably accurate close reason. Unfortunately.

"Can I suggest a modification to your experiment that gets round this problem?" Evil pun!

comment Can a human size object move so fast that it ceases to be observable?
Aren't they both ways to reduce the amount of light coming in? I don't know much about Photography, just trying to infer from what Wikipedia said on them.

This is a good analogy, but the ND filter is equivalent to squinting. If you squint, it's much easier for something to "disappear" from vision, but that doesn't make it invisible.

comment How much red, blue and green does white light have?
@DavidHammen - I love that one. When you put your finger over 90% of the center, and then shift it slightly so that it covers the whole center and then not, you can almost watch your eyes reevaluating the colors in regards to each other. Or at least I can...

comment Two suns, one moon, and one planet?
Very nice, easy-to-picture answer. However, I think you got the suns backwards in the "If it's the right time in the long year" paragraph.

comment Explaining to a five year old - why don't bubbles run like water
@PearsonArtPhoto - I think it'd be doable. You just need to add in a balloon to demonstrate with.
