@DevSolar: I think it's well understood by people visiting this site that astronomical timescales are far beyond human timescales. Regardless your rant doesn't provide a very good answer to his question, as it's no unreasonable to consider Jupiter may not stop rotating within the context of this question, as Io could escape or reach an equilibrium, if it were shielded from effects outside this solar system. Your rant doesn't indicate whether those are not possible outcomes or why.

@FredDanielKline: you can measure things in pounds, using base 10, as well, and if you did so, you'd have a different numeric result. The kilogram is completely arbitrary, it is the mass of water, an arbitrary substance, of an arbitrary volume. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planck_units for more details, to get the ideas alluded to by others mentioning ratios such as proton mass to electron mass.
