My day job for the last three years has been in Perl backend web development for a fortune 500 company.
I have recently embarked on a startup venture in molecular genetics using Haskell.

Why aren't two systems in thermal equilibrium the same as one system? Yep, this is it! Thanks. |

Why aren't two systems in thermal equilibrium the same as one system? Put a different way, why couldn't I take any system and arbitrarily partition it up and consider it as several systems in thermal contact with each other? What we've just seen here is that the math is different between "one system" and "two systems in thermal contact". |
