Phonon-polariton literature resources? This edit simplified the question and made it more similar to a question that did not get closed: http://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/6068/list-of-good-classical-physics-books?rq=1 |

What is the first paper to report observations of polaritons? @DavidZaslavsky I made this question in order to improve upon my first question, but Qmechanic let me know that I should have just altered the old question. What should I do now that I have made the new one? Should I delete this one or the first one, or just leave them both. They really are very different, they would require completely different answers etc. |

What is the first paper to report observations of polaritons? @Qmechanic Yeah, I was asked to change the question and limit its scope. This question is similar, but fundamentally different, and hopefully more appropriate for the stackexchange venue. |

Phonon-polariton literature resources? Thanks @Dilaton, do you think it would be okay to ask if anyone is familiar with the foundational literature? Like the first paper published on polaritons? |

Phonon-polariton literature resources? Okay, thank you for the tips. I'll try to ask questions that are more relevant to the stackexchange model in the future. |
