comment If everything in the universe doubled in size overnight, would it be noticeable?
I'll try again :) Say we have a ball, its made up of 10 atoms, and lets say that's the sun and the earth is the same.... what im asking is, if the actual size of the atoms themselves doubled, would we notice the difference. So not a doubling in the sense of rwice the amount of material that those objects are made of, rather a doubling in the material itself? So hard to explain :(

I meant the same mass really, see my theory (through my eyes) was that if everything doubled in size, such as the particles that made up objects...... the sun and the earth would double in size(along with everything else) but the space in between them (which is nothing) cant expand. Thus meaning the gravities would greatly change and bash..... collision. Am I wrong?

Well I meant if everything with a physical mass I guess. I'm a noob with physics but I just want to understand
