What causes the vacuum in my bento box? OK... so the hot gases hitting the cold surface of the lid is causing them to condense back into liquid... thus energy is being transferred to the lid. ("heating" it up). So is it something to do with a closed system transferring energy out (through the lid), then that causes the suction? |
