Quantum phyics project for a high schooler the idea of the constants was shut down for being too theoretical, but I thought it would be a fun way of explaining some QM and relativity. With technical, I meant you actually have to do tests and do real-life experiments (so a purely mathematical thesis, even if you explain it and link it to the real word, is forbidden). So you MUST have something 'concrete', if you understand. If I could somehow make this camera, that of course would be sensational. |

Quantum phyics project for a high schooler Otherwise this sounds extremely interesting, and if the dark camera can actually be made, that certainly be fantastic. |

Quantum phyics project for a high schooler Well, I found out that, if you do a project on any of the sciences, it MUST be technical. I originally wanted to make my thesis on the constants of $c$ and $\hbar$, and what would happen if $c$ was smaller and $\hbar$ was larger, and by doing that explaining some QM and relativity.. however, it is purely theoretical .. |

Study Quantum Physics That may very well be true, but don't overestimate the high school curriculum. 'Latin' just mean translating boring texts from writers such as Tacitus (who doesn't appeal to me, with his sine ira et studio, what a joke) and Classical History is just about the Greek/Roman Pantheon and some other boring stuff. Complete waste of time if you ask me. |

Study Quantum Physics @RonMaimon What would you suggest being good for me to set as a goal? You seem like a very informed man and I would like to ask for your personal advice. Of course I am also busy with sports, and I'm starting to learn LaTeX, so I'd say I spend 10 hours a week on this. |

Study Quantum Physics @RonMaimon I also don't care for the 'gifted' label, it just enables me to take 3 hours a week off from useless classes like Latin and Classical History to work on things I deem more useful. |

Study Quantum Physics I have almost finished a first year college course of Linear Algebra, so it's up to scratch, I won't need to worry about it no more. |

Quantum phyics project for a high schooler @Qmechanic How on earth is this a duplicate? Thank you for closing this question. This site is for spreading knowledge, not preventing it. |

Quantum phyics project for a high schooler @MarkMitchison Wow, this is funny and a bummer at the same time. Last year, a boy at our school did Bell's theorem and won a national prize with it. His parents are both experimental physicists and he was interested in physics too. So I probably can't do it too, it would look like I'm plagiarizing him. |

Study Quantum Physics Also, I have 2 big books on linear algebra lying around at home (my father's I believe) so would you recommend me to do some studying of that? |
